Bill Belleville to be featured guest speaker at Highlands Hammock State Park

Author and film producer Bill Belleville will give a compelling presentation on identifying our water-driven natural landscapes in Florida. In his talk, “Getting to Know Florida’s Engaging ‘Water World’ from the Inside Out “, he will explore how other writers and artists have been inspired by them over time and will examine the threats to these diverse natural systems from Florida’s unbridled sprawl. Belleville’s vivid photographic images illustrate Florida’s magical springs and the scrub and sandhill that help recharge springs and related habitats which are key to acknowledging Florida’s singular “sense of place”.
