SJRWMD Altamonte Springs Service Center To Relocate

The St. Johns River Water Management District is relocating its Altamonte Springs Service Center to the Maitland Green office complex at 601 S. Lake Destiny Road in Maitland. District offices will be in Suite 200.

Staff and equipment will move to the new location during the last week of August and the new offices will open to the public on Sept. 1.

To ensure that the public and regulated community continue to be served, the District will accept permit submittals and answer inquiries at its Altamonte Springs location through Aug. 31. The review of permit applications will continue during the moving process.

During the relocation, individual office numbers may be temporarily unavailable, so the public is encouraged to call (407) 659-4800 to reach staff. Cell phone numbers and email communications are expected to function normally. District staff telephone numbers will remain the same after the move.

The lease on the new Maitland Service Center will save the District approximately $500,000 over the term of the lease compared to its current lease agreement. In addition to the savings, the new location will allow the District to continue to serve the public in central Florida and enhance efficiencies for District staff.
