The features were photointerpreted from 1:12,000 USGS color infrared (CIR) digital orthophoto quarter quadrangles. This data layer was created to illustrate the different land uses in the Southwest Florida Water Management District as seen in 1995. On the Atlas this data is used to calculate land use and wetland percentages for watersheds.
