Station List

Access water quality, hydrology, rainfall and weather data by selecting a station's marker on the map.

You can use your mouse to drag the map or click the directional arrows to pan left, right, up and down to see areas that are hidden offscreen. You can also use the slider to zoom in and zoom out, which is also possible by double clicking your mouse on the map. The map also consists of a map view, satellite view, combination of real images and map elements, or the default terrain view.

  • Active stations have very current data, possibly within the past 60 seconds, while some active stations are updated once every 24 hours.
  • Inactive (or delayed) stations are either experiencing a minor technical problem or may be under maintenance. Historical data is still available for these sites.
  • Decommissioned stations represent a site that was once active, but only historical data is now available; no further updates will occur.

Non-realtime Stations

When selecting a waterbody a new group of sites appear with the icon shown above.

These sites are non-realtime stations that contain water quality, hydrology, and rainfall data. This collection of data is what is presented throughout the Water Atlas, but has been made available to the Data Mapper application. You can access the entire period of record for any of these stations by clicking the Data Download link after you select a site on the map.
