Description
This project consist of the installation of a stormwater baffle box in an existing 60" storm sewer pipe in the Christina Development of southeast Lakeland on Crescent Lake Drive. The 10'x15' under ground baffle box is being installed to capture solids and organic matter prior to being discharged into Crescent Lake. Solids are vacuumed out of this system on a semi-annual basis. A baffle box consist of three chambers and baffles to remove sediment and debris from the stormwater runoff and provide additional water quality treatment to this watershed area. The system collects approximately 6,000 lbs. of debris per year prior to the stormwater discharging into Crescent Lake.
